About 9EditsBot

9EditsBot is the crawler 9Edits uses to find maternity and bump-friendly clothes on brands’ public websites, so shoppers can discover them and click straight through to buy from the brand.

What it reads

Publicly visible product information only — the product name, price, colours, availability, description, photos and the link to the product page. It never logs in, and it doesn’t touch accounts, carts, checkouts or anyone’s personal data.

How it behaves

• It identifies itself as 9EditsBot in its user-agent, with a link back to this page.
• It follows your robots.txt rules, including Crawl-delay.
• It visits slowly, one page at a time, about once a day.
• If a site blocks it, it stops. It never tries to get around a block.

How to opt out

Add this to your site’s robots.txt and 9EditsBot won’t visit:

User-agent: 9EditsBot
Disallow: /

Or email hello@9edits.com and we’ll remove your products.

Partnering, or something to correct?
